Richard Arnold was born and raised in Alabama, but has lived on Vancouver Island since 1985.
He teaches English at Malaspina University-College in Nanaimo. He tries to communicate to all his
students the need to respect and protect the natural environment. He enjoys hiking, biking, skiing,
reading, and spending time with his wife and two teenagers.
